Article Processing Charges (APCs)

The Journal of Applied AI in the Built Environment (JAAIBE) is an open access journal, ensuring that all published articles are freely available to readers worldwide. Open access is supported through Article Processing Charges (APCs), which are typically applied to cover the costs of peer review management, production, and online hosting.

As a new journal, JAAIBE is currently waiving all APCs to support early submissions and encourage contributions from the research community. This means that, for the time being, authors can submit and publish their work without any fees.

In the future, standard APCs will be applied to maintain the journal’s operations and open access model. Authors will be notified in advance of any changes to the APC policy, and detailed information will be provided on this page when charges are implemented.

We remain committed to maintaining transparency regarding publication fees and ensuring that open access publishing is equitable and accessible to all authors.
